An 11-year-old boy from the wrong side of the tracks finds
himself having to hire a sassy female lawyer after witnessing a mob hit and both of them become hounded by the FBI as well as the mafia.
Based on a novel by John Grisham during a point in the
1990's when many of his books were getting cinema adaptations, this is one of the better films based on his work, due in part to Susan Sarandon's excellent performance. She received a
deserved Oscar nomination for her work.
