gimmick film for the technological age, using all the apps and functions of a typical home computer to link the narrative of a thriller.
The film is all shown from the point of view of a PC desktop,
using emails, text messages, YouTube videos, FaceTime phone calls, etc to piece the mystery together when Margot Kim goes missing suddenly one night, leaving her concerned father to find out what
happened with the help of a police detective.
Though it's incredibly well pieced together for an original
style of filmmaking and storytelling, it's very much a gimmick film and without this, the story really doesn't hold up, even if it were transitioned into a TV movie of the week
Kudos for trying, but the more you think about it, the less
impressive it gets.
