Big-screen adaptation of a 1960's television
show about a hillbilly family who strike it rich with oil and move to California to live in a Beverly Hills mansion.
While TV show was a memorable hit during it's
time, this is a very average big screen transition. Hastily written with obvious jokes and clearly a cash-in on the moderate success of the recent Addams Family movies. Watch any
episode of the TV show instead, it's much funnier.
